This is one of those old pizza joints that you either love their pizza or hate it. It's Greek style pizza that is heavy with crust, toppings, and especially cheese. Personally I love it. When I lived in Narragansett years back I used to order theirs and drive all the way to NK for it. I'm not always in the mood for their heavy pizza, but when I am there is just nothing like it around the area. The menu is simple with no real specialty pizzas, just toppings to choose from. Sometimes the people there can be a little off, surly to one another, but seldom to the customers...A no fancy stuff pizza joint that just has great Greek style pizza. When you are in the mood for it, its the best...

I work at an office park nearby and we decided to order Filippou's Pizza for lunch today. I ordered the $8.99 chicken finger platter and somehow my bill came to $12.71. I called back to ask about this charge and was told that my card was charged a delivery charge for my entire office's order and I was charged 25 cents for an extra Sweet & Sour sauce that I didn't ask for. However, the menu doesn't indicate any sort of a delivery charge at all, which is quite sneaky considering every other deliver place will indicate on the front of their menu that there is a delivery charge. Long story short, they wouldn't refund me any money for the charges and with tip, I ended up paying $14.71 for their $8.99 chicken finger platter. Suffice to say they just lost the business of my company and I'll go out of my way to tell people to steer clear of them and their sketchy business practices.

I ordered a small pepperoni pizza and buffalo wings. The pizza was burned on the bottom and greasy, the wings were just "ok".

The best pizza ever, if you like your pizza loaded and gooey with cheese, which I do. We always order a large "special" which has everything on it except anchovies. I've been a patron of this establishment since the late '70s, and IMO it can't be beat for flavor.
